Sandy Dorsey is a speech-language pathologist (SLP), educator, and global advocate for children with special needs. She has provided diagnostic and therapeutic speech services for over 20 years in a variety of SLP care settings for children and adults from diverse and underserved communities. Sandy currently provides remote teletherapy services through her private practice, All About Speech, LLC.

After decades of life experience, Sandy found her purpose facilitating access to therapeutic resources for children and their families primarily in Africa and the Caribbean. Sandy founded Smiles for Speech in July, 2017 to support families in low income communities with evidence-based intervention through interdisciplinary service trips, teletherapy, workshops, and parent support groups. Her vision is to ensure the most vulnerable children all over the world reach their full potential.

As a proud Howard University graduate, Sandy is eager to give back to the next generation of speech- language pathologists with a focus on cultural responsiveness and increasing diversity in the field of speech-language pathology. Sandy is a global citizen yearning for many full passports.
